Privacy Policy

WeytaSports is a football companion designed to be private by default. You do not need an account to use the app, and we do not collect any personal data.

1. Information we do not collect

We do not collect, store, transmit or share any of the following:

  • Names, email addresses or phone numbers
  • Date of birth, gender or demographic data
  • Precise or approximate location
  • Contacts, calendars or photos (the app may write a single event to your calendar only after you explicitly tap "Add to Calendar")
  • Payment or financial data — there are no in-app purchases
  • Device identifiers used for advertising (IDFA) or analytics
  • Browsing or in-app behaviour

2. Information stored on your device

The following preferences are stored locally on your device, using the standard iOS user-defaults storage. They never leave your device:

  • Match, team and league favourites you pin
  • Selected accent colour, language preference, onboarding completion state
  • Whether you enabled the kickoff reminder toggle

3. System permissions we request

Calendar (write-only) Requested only when you tap "Add to Calendar" on a fixture. A single event is written to your default calendar with a 15-minute alarm. We never read your existing events.

Notifications (local only) Requested only after you opt in to kickoff reminders. The notification is scheduled on your device with UNUserNotificationCenter. No push token is ever sent to a server.

4. Third-party services

The app reads two public data sources to render its content:

  • api-football.com — fixtures, live scores, lineups, statistics, standings, top scorers and predictions. Requests contain only the API key and the requested resource (e.g., league or fixture ID). No personal data is transmitted.
  • RSS news feeds — public feeds from BBC Sport, Goal.com and ESPN FC for the News tab.

We do not integrate any analytics SDK, advertising network, crash-reporting service, social-login provider or push-notification provider.

5. Children

WeytaSports does not target children under 13 and does not collect any data, regardless of the user's age.

6. Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly. Material changes will be announced in the app's release notes.

WeytaSports est un compagnon football conçu pour respecter la vie privée par défaut. Vous n'avez pas besoin de compte pour utiliser l'application, et nous ne collectons aucune donnée personnelle.

1. Informations que nous ne collectons pas

L'application ne collecte, ne stocke, ne transmet et ne partage aucune des données suivantes :

  • Nom, adresse e-mail ou numéro de téléphone
  • Date de naissance, genre ou données démographiques
  • Position précise ou approximative
  • Contacts, calendrier ou photos (l'application n'écrit un événement dans votre calendrier que si vous touchez explicitement « Ajouter au calendrier »)
  • Données de paiement ou financières — il n'y a aucun achat in-app
  • Identifiants publicitaires (IDFA) ou d'analyse
  • Navigation ou comportement in-app

2. Données stockées sur votre appareil

Les préférences suivantes sont stockées localement sur votre appareil via UserDefaults d'iOS. Elles ne quittent jamais l'appareil :

  • Matchs, équipes et compétitions que vous épinglez
  • Couleur d'accent, langue, état d'onboarding
  • Activation des rappels de coup d'envoi

3. Autorisations système demandées

  • api-football.com — matchs, scores en direct, compositions, statistiques, classements, meilleurs buteurs, prédictions. Les requêtes ne contiennent que la clé d'API et l'identifiant de ressource (championnat ou rencontre), aucune donnée personnelle.
  • Flux RSS — flux publics de BBC Sport, Goal.com et ESPN FC pour l'onglet Actualités.

Aucun SDK d'analyse, régie publicitaire, service de crash, fournisseur de connexion tierce ou de push n'est intégré.

5. Mineurs

WeytaSports ne cible pas les enfants de moins de 13 ans et ne collecte aucune donnée, quel que soit l'âge de l'utilisateur.

Die App liest zwei öffentliche Datenquellen:

  • api-football.com — Spielpläne, Live-Ergebnisse, Aufstellungen, Statistiken, Tabellen, Torschützen und Prognosen. Anfragen enthalten nur den API-Schlüssel und die Ressourcen-ID (Liga oder Spiel), keine personenbezogenen Daten.
  • RSS-Feeds — öffentliche Feeds von BBC Sport, Goal.com und ESPN FC für den News-Tab.

Es ist kein Analyse-SDK, Werbe-Netzwerk, Crash-Reporter, Drittanbieter-Login oder Push-Provider integriert.

5. Kinder

WeytaSports richtet sich nicht an Kinder unter 13 Jahren und erhebt unabhängig vom Alter der Nutzenden keine Daten.

Bei Änderungen aktualisieren wir das Datum „Stand" oben. Wesentliche Änderungen werden in den App-Release-Notes angekündigt.

Why does the app need Calendar access?
Calendar access is only requested the first time you tap Add to Calendar on a fixture detail screen. WeytaSports uses iOS's write-only calendar access (introduced in iOS 17), so we cannot see any of your existing events. You can revoke this access any time from Settings → WeytaSports → Calendar.
How do I enable kickoff reminders?
Open Settings tab → Notifications → Kickoff reminders and toggle it on. iOS will prompt you to allow notifications. The reminder is scheduled locally on your device 15 minutes before any pinned fixture — we never send a push token to a server.
Where does the football data come from?
Match data (fixtures, scores, lineups, statistics, standings, predictions and top scorers) is licensed from api-football.com. News headlines are aggregated from public RSS feeds (BBC Sport, Goal.com, ESPN FC). If a score looks wrong, please pull-to-refresh first — that usually fixes a stale cache.
How do I switch the in-app language?
Open Settings tab → Language and pick one of System default, English, 繁體中文, 简体中文, Français or Deutsch. The change applies instantly without restarting the app.
How do I change the accent colour?
Open Settings tab → Theme colour. Pick green, blue, purple or orange. The choice persists across launches.
Can I delete my account?
WeytaSports has no account system. All your favourites and preferences live on your device only. Deleting the app removes everything — there is nothing on a server to delete.
Does the app track me or show ads?
No. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising network and no tracking. Network traffic goes only to api-football.com and the three public news RSS sources listed in the Privacy Policy.
Why is a fixture I expected missing?
WeytaSports lists fixtures returned by api-football.com for the selected date in UTC. Some lower-tier or amateur competitions may not be in their catalogue. The Time Converter tool may also help if the kickoff is in a different time zone than your phone.
The app crashed — what should I do?
Force-quit and relaunch, then update to the latest version from the App Store. If the crash persists, please use the Contact us form and include your iOS version and the screen where the crash happened.

Pourquoi l'app demande-t-elle l'accès au calendrier ?
L'accès est demandé uniquement la première fois que vous touchez Ajouter au calendrier sur un match. WeytaSports utilise l'accès calendrier en écriture seule (iOS 17+), nous ne voyons donc aucun de vos événements existants. Vous pouvez révoquer l'accès dans Réglages → WeytaSports → Calendrier.
Comment activer les rappels de coup d'envoi ?
Ouvrez Réglages → Notifications → Rappels de coup d'envoi et activez l'option. iOS demandera l'autorisation des notifications. Le rappel est programmé localement sur votre appareil, 15 minutes avant un match épinglé, sans jeton de push envoyé à un serveur.
D'où viennent les données football ?
Les matchs et statistiques proviennent de api-football.com. Les actualités viennent de flux RSS publics (BBC Sport, Goal.com, ESPN FC). Si un score paraît incorrect, tirez vers le bas pour rafraîchir.
Comment changer la langue de l'app ?
Ouvrez Réglages → Langue et choisissez Système, English, 繁體中文, 简体中文, Français ou Deutsch. Le changement est instantané, pas besoin de redémarrer.
Comment changer la couleur d'accent ?
Ouvrez Réglages → Couleur d'accent. Choisissez vert, bleu, violet ou orange. Le choix est conservé.
Puis-je supprimer mon compte ?
WeytaSports n'a aucun compte utilisateur. Toutes vos préférences sont stockées localement. Supprimer l'app efface tout — rien n'est conservé sur un serveur.
L'app me suit-elle ou m'affiche-t-elle des publicités ?
Non. Aucun SDK d'analyse, aucune régie publicitaire, aucun pistage. Le trafic réseau ne va que vers api-football.com et les trois flux RSS publics listés dans la politique de confidentialité.
L'app a planté — que faire ?
Forcez la fermeture et relancez, puis vérifiez les mises à jour sur l'App Store. Si le crash persiste, utilisez le formulaire Contact en précisant votre version d'iOS et l'écran concerné.

Warum benötigt die App Kalenderzugriff?

Öffnen Sie Einstellungen → Mitteilungen → Anpfiff-Erinnerungen und schalten Sie es ein. iOS fragt nach der Benachrichtigungsberechtigung. Die Erinnerung wird lokal auf Ihrem Gerät 15 Minuten vor einem angepinnten Spiel geplant — kein Push-Token wird an einen Server gesendet.
Woher kommen die Fußballdaten?
Spielpläne und Statistiken stammen von api-football.com. News werden aus öffentlichen RSS-Feeds (BBC Sport, Goal.com, ESPN FC) aggregiert. Wenn ein Ergebnis falsch aussieht, bitte zuerst per Pull-to-Refresh aktualisieren.
Wie ändere ich die App-Sprache?
Öffnen Sie Einstellungen → Sprache und wählen Sie Systemstandard, English, 繁體中文, 简体中文, Français oder Deutsch. Die Änderung gilt sofort, ohne Neustart.

Kann ich mein Konto löschen?
WeytaSports hat kein Kontosystem. Alle Einstellungen liegen lokal auf Ihrem Gerät. Das Löschen der App entfernt alles — auf einem Server liegt nichts.
Trackt mich die App oder zeigt Werbung?
Nein. Kein Analyse-SDK, keine Werbenetzwerke, kein Tracking. Netzwerkverkehr geht nur zu api-football.com und den drei in der Datenschutzerklärung aufgelisteten öffentlichen News-RSS-Feeds.
Die App ist abgestürzt — was tun?
